THE WITCH’S COOKBOOK: A FAERIE TALE

by Vee James

Narrated by: Hannibal Hills

Production by: Rare Image Publications

Delightful Tardnattle!

Tardnattle, a Sgahm (better known as Wee Folk), and a Little-Big-One (Human boy) meet up and together they try to return a witch's cookbook. However, this cookbook is unique as it talks, teaches, and it is a bit too clever! Tardnattle finds himself in the middle of a huge mess as he tries to decide who the evil person is here … the witch or the cookbook!

The author, Vee James has skillfully woven together a delightful tale of adventure and the magical world of Faerie. Each character is delightfully developed and given traits that connect them to the listener. Including the evil cookbook! I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the plot twists. There were one or two that surprised me! I found his characters to be thoughtful and would be an inspiration for those children needing a little guidance. The message of the book of doing right was well blended into the story.

The narrator, Hannibal Hills delivers a truly captivating performance! His voices for each character were unique and suited their personality and character to a T. His delivery of each word was clear, smooth, and flawless! His pace was well-timed. I have to say Hills has become a favorite of mine after this book!

I highly recommend this book as it is fun, light, and carries a message about doing the right thing. An awesome book for all ages!
