THE TIE THAT BLINDS
Misadventures Memoirs, Book 3

by Al E. Boy, F. Carod

Narrated by: Pam Tsujioka

Production by: John A. McNeil

Mesmerizing, Action-Filled Misadventure!

Dale Mathis is missing, presumed dead and Sofia Hernandez is healing and missing Dale. It has been recently discovered that the highly sought-after tiger USB which is known to contain highly sensitive and incriminating evidence against those in the world of Senator Rafael Medina also contained another piece of information. This information is even more potent as it shows how deeply entrenched the corruption and evil deeds are. As with all things despicable and evil, there are a few people who have vowed revenge and the action-packed adventure begins with a bang!

Once again, Al E. Boy and F. Carod have provided a well-crafted continuation of the Misadventures Memoirs series. Boy and Carod weave a complex, well-planned story with colorful characters and stimulating plot twists. The personalities of each character continue throughout the series while also showing some growth. Complex and rich with diverse and determined characters, it is the vivid details within the story that provides clarity. The story flows naturally and the plot twists are edge of your seat. Further, I like how his book’s title fits naturally into the storyline.

The narrator, Pam Tsujioka once again gives a wonderful performance. Her voices are unique for each character and reflect their personality. I’m not sure how she does it, but she alternates between characters and their genders with ease. Her range of voices is astounding. The words flow smoothly and clearly. She invokes emotions from the listener as she projects the appropriate emotion, sound, and solid cadence. I have enjoyed everything I have heard by Tsujioka.

I highly recommend this series and this book. The courageous and brave characters go hand in hand with the less than morally stellar characters. The author and narrator work well together and their work reflects their team.

Once again, the author received the prestigious Audiobook Reviewer's Choice Award as this book deserves a higher than allowed five-star ranking.

The production and quality of this audiobook were perfect. I encountered no issues; it was clear and crisp.
