Immersive and Unconventional Fair Tale!
Charla White
Neverland and Peter Pan's adventures take a dark turn in this audiobook. As Peter Pan and Captain Hook progress, their adversarial roles take a higher level. The bright, fun aspects of Neverland become dark, deadly, and nightmarish. One must ask, will Peter Pan and his Lost Boys survive, or will Captain Hook finally prevail? Only time will tell in this darkened version!
The author, Will Savive, masterfully subverts the light-hearted fairy tale, unveiling a darker, revenge-driven narrative filled with unexpected twists. His writing style is immersive and cinematic—rich in detail yet leaving space for the reader’s imagination. With lyrical prose, sharp pacing, and a strong sense of atmosphere, he crafts vivid scenes that linger long after the story ends. His richly developed characters and bold perspectives challenge conventional storytelling, offering a fresh, thought-provoking take on familiar themes. His dialogue is authentic as well.
The narrator, Dean T. Moody, delivers a compelling performance, skillfully using distinct voices to bring each character to life and deepen the listener’s engagement. His clear, captivating delivery sustains immersion from start to finish. With subtle tonal shifts, he hints at the story’s darker turns while still allowing listeners to experience its full emotional impact.
As a devoted horror fan, I found the thought-provoking twists and unexpected turns absolutely riveting. The story pulled me in from the start and never let go. I highly recommend this book to fellow horror lovers and anyone who appreciates bold, unconventional storytelling.

Dark Take on a Fairy Tale!
Miranda Summerset
This dark take on Peter Pan (which some consider already a troubled character) is a twisted tale that is worth the listen. The typical Peter Pan story, but with a killer twist where Wendy, Peter, & the lost boys take revenge of the murder of a beloved friend by Hook & his cronies.
It’s enjoyable & does not lose the magic of the original story. The ending is perfect, & such a nice finale.
The narrator, Dean T. Moody, does a great job & has the perfect voices for the characters. I really recommend this! This is a quick & easy listen that manages to pack a punch.
Will Savive, the author, showcases an exceptional writing style that is both refreshingly accessible and impressively layered. His storytelling effortlessly draws listeners in with its clarity, while weaving intricate plot twists that keep you hooked from start to finish. Each character is thoughtfully developed with depth and nuance, making their growth feel not only natural but deeply satisfying. Savive’s talent for blending simplicity with sophistication is truly commendable.
