MISADVENTURES MEMOIRS: THE TIGER’S TEARS

by Al E. Boy and F. Carod

Narrated by: Pam Tsujioka

Production by: John A. McNeil

WOW! Horrifyingly Fascinating!!!

Misadventures Memoirs: The Tiger’s Tears is the second book in this series that shows the deepness of the connections between Martin Tillman, Mathis, and Sofia. Now that Tillman is out of the way, there is a new killer. The Killer in this book was one of Martin Tillman’s cronies and partners in torture, sadistic behavior, and murder. Mathis, Sofia, and her family become targets as the long list of murders and crimes that occurred during Tillman’s time are reopened and closely examined. The new head of the evil empire has placed a target on the Tillman’s survivors and family. Deep in survival mode, Mathis and Sofia probe their feelings.

The authors, Al Boy and F. Carod weave a solid story within the world of a sadistic psychopath and delivers a tense and riveting listen. I will not sugarcoat this review as the story, and descriptions are eye-popping and at times surpass the horror themes found in Hostel and Saw. Boy and Carod show their listeners just how dark a person can become and how well a deviant can hide. The authors delve deeply into the world of sadistic psychopaths providing a nail-biting, breath-taking plot that will linger in the minds of the listeners long after the story ends.

While I do not enjoy hearing how people suffer, it is the psychological aspect of the story itself that is fascinating. This book is fascinating, terrifying, and riveting. Once you begin, there is no turning back until the last words are spoken.

The narrator, Pam Tsujioka delivers an excellent performance. She never misses a beat, speaks clearly and with the perfect amount of emotion. She slips into each character and delivers a noteworthy performance delivering each line in the tone and personality of each character. Each character has a unique voice; further, she speaks clearly and with a solid cadence.

I highly recommend this book because it is well done, intriguing, and horrifyingly fascinating.
