CONVERSATIONS WITH THE DEVIL

by Daniel Wescott

Narrated by: Michael Mau

Production by: Daniel Wescott

The Devil in the Conversation!

Everyone needs some downtime, including the great evil one! This is a highly unique collection of stories demonstrating what happens when one decides to join the devil for drinks and conversation! The versatileness of the devil is explored demonstrating just how devious, interesting, and manipulative the devil can be even during his downtime.

The author, Daniel Wescott, cleverly takes several topics and explores them through dialogue between the devil and other characters. Each character has a different point of view, belief, experience, and life. Each conversation is genuine and provides a rich and entertaining moment. While Wescott explores many different thoughts and beliefs around faith, free will, and more, it is done with some tongue-in-cheek moments. Wescott makes it clear that one should never mess with or trust the devil.

The narrator, Michael Mau yet once again delivers a delightful performance. He never disturbs the stream of consciousness and speaks clearly. His delivery flows smoothly and with a steady cadence and proper tonal inflections. While I already loved the premise of the book, his performance further enhanced it.

This is a fun book, a bit twisted at times. As the listener, I felt like a fly on the wall and I loved the conversations but more so the “oh he got you” moments.
